Mexico will host next year’s World Cup along with Canada and the United States.

Mexico City’s Azteca Stadium will be one of the Mexican venues during the tournament along with stadiums in Guadalajara and Monterrey.

Sheinbaum told reporters her country is eager to host the World Cup for a historic third time, she promises fans will have a safe and enjoyable time during their visit.

The upcoming World Cup will be held from June 11 through July 5th.

Financial analysts expect tourism to grow in Mexico by 44 percent during the tournament, generating $1 billion for the country’s economy.

It is also expected to generate 24,000 new jobs.
