While southern Mexico and the Yucatan are brimming with ancient sites. check the map and the sire list below. You may find that there is an archeology site near to your travels.

Make sure you are prepared for your visit. Arrive early if possible to avoid midday heat and the dreaded tour busses with thousands of tourists!

Take sunscreen and bug spray. If it is during the summer or during hot days, be sure to bring water. Make sure you bring your camera and plenty of memory for the thousands of pictures you are likely to take!
