San Blas is located on the Pacific Ocean’s coastal plain in the state of Nayarit, Mexico, nestled between Mazatlán to the north and Puerto Vallarta to the south. The nearest major airport is Tepic International Airport, just 70 kilometers (about 43 miles) away, making it the most convenient entry point for visitors. From Tepic, you can rent a car or take a bus for a short drive to San Blas, which will lead you through lush tropical landscapes.
