Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras are connected by two international bridges. Pick the one that suits your trip before you arrive.
Bridge I (Camino Real International Bridge, downtown)
Open: 7 A.M.-11 P.M. daily
Passenger vehicles and pedestrians only. No commercial trucks.
Bridge II (Camino Real II, south of downtown)
Open: 24 hours
Handles both passenger and commercial traffic, and is generally the easier approach for large RVs. Check current lane restrictions and any local construction before you go.
The Banjercito office for Temporary Import Permits is at Bridge II, Monday to Friday, 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. Hours can change, so confirm before you travel — don’t assume it’s open around the clock just because the bridge itself is.

To Mexico
From Eagle Pass, follow US 57 south to the bridge of your choice. Bridge I feeds directly into downtown Piedras Negras; Bridge II connects to Mexican Federal Highway 57 toward the city center and points south.
To US
From Piedras Negras, follow the bridge signs back to US 57 and Eagle Pass, and choose the General, Ready Lane, or SENTRI approach that applies to you.
